This week, on Campground Conversations, you will meet Bobby Joy, the Maintenance Supervisor! He will be giving you all the details on our campsites and what they have to offer our guests. 


Bobby has been with Ocean Lakes for 8 years, and he loves deep sea fishing!

Here is what Bobby had to say about our campsite features | 

Ocean Lakes Family Campground offers great diversity in camping accommodations. 

Features | We have 859 transient campsites. The campsites are large, pull-through sites along paved roads. Every campsite includes: 20-30-50 amp electric, water, sewer, and complimentary: 64-channel cable TV hookup, a picnic table, and free Wi-Fi and paid Tiered Wi-Fi for faster data speeds (not signal strength).




The Perfect Campsite, The Perfect Camper | We are big rig friendly (most sites average 45' long by 35' wide), and 649+ sites include a concrete pad (the pad generally measures 18' wide by 45' long). Make sure you know the accurate length of your camper (including the "tongue" that sits on the hitch of your vehicle). Most of our sites are large; however, we want to make sure you are not booking a site that is too small for your RV.


Choices, Choices | Guests have a variety of choices including oceanfront, lakeside, and shaded sites. When calling to make a campsite reservation, feel free to ask about the site. Our Teammates can tell you the site dimensions, how many feet the site is from the ocean, if a bathhouse is close, and even if the site has a tree on it! You can also see several details about each campsite when you do an online site search. 



Book Early | Reservations can be made up to 18 months in advance with the required deposit by calling 1-877-510-1413 or by booking online. If you are interested in booking your trip during Spring, Summer, or October, we highly recommend booking 18 months in advance (or as early as possible). These are busy times of the year at Ocean Lakes in which the energy level is very high.

Over the years, golf cars have become the main source of transportation around the campground. They are fun, simple, and convenient, so naturally, they are popular.
