If any guest has concerns about their well-being or that of their family members, we recommend abstaining from using our amenities or participating in our activities. We truly want every guest to have a positive and enjoyable experience at Ocean Lakes, ultimately we want everyone to exhibit caution and consideration.

Everyone is strongly encouraged to remain proactive with social distancing, sanitizing, and minimizing shared items. It is everyone’s personal responsibility to help ensure the well-being of their family and to be aware of how their actions impact others. Our team will do everything we can to follow the recommended guidelines throughout our operations.

Remember Family-Friendly | Our guests go all out with their Halloween decorations and costumes – We love that – Just remember that Halloweekends are focused on families. Be creative, keep it clean. Be scary, but not so much that you would make a little one cry.

Safety and Security Policies | Due to COVID-19, our normal “Masks and Face Coverings” policy has been modified. Face masks or face coverings are required in Horry County.

Coronavirus guidelines for face masks and face coverings recommend covering the nose and mouth. Halloweekend guidelines address and restrict FULL face coverings and face masks to set times and locations for guest safety and security concerns. For security reasonsguests need to avoid fully covering faces where ONLY guests' eyes are showing. We want to honor the spirit of the holiday fun but must keep safety and security a priority – That includes identifying guests when needed.

FULL face masks and face coverings are only permitted to be worn in Ocean Lakes for the 5 Halloweekends (on Fridays and Saturdays). FULL face masks or face coverings cannot be worn in our businesses (Sandy Mart, RV Center, Golf Cars, Main Office, Ocean Lakes Properties, Sandy Harbor), except during Trick o' Treating on Saturdays from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM. They are generally permitted in the Recreation Center.

Operating a vehicle or golf car with a FULL face mask or face covering is NOT permitted as it is a safety issue and also hinders Security in identifying underage drivers. Security Teammates will use discretion on a case by case basis as needed throughout Halloweekends regarding masks, coverings, costumes, and decorations.

South Gate | Our South Gate will be open to help all the Halloween revelers get in as quick as possible to start having fun! The South Gate will be open 8 AM – Midnight each Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the month of October.

North Gate | Our North Gate will be open to guests exiting right out of the campground on Sunday’s throughout the month of October from 9 AM – 11 AM. Guests will use Salt Works Road to depart from our North Gate, and remember, this is for northbound traffic ONLY.
