Parking was bound to become scarce and the time came for us to do something about that. Ocean Lakes is ready for bikers to start rolling in for the Harley-Davidson spring rally in Myrtle Beach. The Cruisin’ the Coast rally , which attracts thousands of bikers to the Grand Strand, officially kicks off Monday, May 14 but some bikers will arrive the weekend before the official kickoff to get the party started. The rally runs through May 20 and includes rides, entertainment and other special events along the Grand Strand. Ocean Lakes welcomes bikers. Special parking for bikes and trailer storage areas have been set up to accommodate biker guests. Our South Gate also will be open to help guests get in the campground and start having fun as quickly as possible. The rally - which starts Monday, Oct. 2 and continues through Sunday, Oct. 8 - attracts thousands of bikers to the Grand Strand for rides and events, but is much smaller than the spring Harley-Davidson rally in May. We want all our guests who are here for the fall rally to have a fun, safe visit! Below are a few reminders about our rules, information about parking and tips to make your stay as smooth as possible. Motorcycle rules You cannot ride your motorcycle through the campground. Riding motorcycles past the designated area at the entrance (signs mark the boundaries of the designated area) or coasting (not under power but with a guest sitting on the seat) are NOT permitted.
