Commence the Maintenance Projects | An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update

An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update With fall comes the start of lots of new projects! Our Team is already hard at work to make sure our guests have the best.  We are so excited for everyone to see all the improvements that will be happening around Ocean Lakes. Follow along to see just what our Maintenance Team is up to! I Bathhouse Family Addition | The famil y addition to the I Bathhouse is well underway! This new addition is expected to be done by the Easter Holiday. Raise The Roof |   The 2000's Bathhouse roofing update is complete! Thank you for your patience while our Team works hard to make sure we are in tip top shape. Paving The Way |  Shortly after the Thanksgiving Holiday our Maintenance Team will begin converting several sites to concrete pads. Main Gate Expansion | An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update

As many of our Guests and Annual Lease Site Holders know, we reserve the winter months as a time to complete projects throughout the campground. This past winter was no different; however, one project was not crossed off the list. With this project being essential and beneficial to all, we must move forward with the plans.  Pardon Our Dust | We are doubling the size of our Main Gate. This will provide a larger administrative area, more space to help Security monitor the campground, and assist with late arrivals.  Well Said, Cedric | The Security and Services Manager, Cedric, is excited for the expansion and hopeful for the benefits it will bring:  “The Main Gate expansion will assist Security and our guests once completed. The sounds of hammers and bustling Teammates have become the norm around the campground. Our Team continues working diligently towards completing maintenance upgrades.  Here is the latest on maintenance upgrades |   Main Office Renovation Update | The Lobby tile was installed last week. This project is moving right along. Our Team is excited to see this completed and are ready to move in and welcome our guests! Main Office Expansion Update | The Parcel Pick-Up concrete was poured, and the framing has begun. It is fascinating to watch this project come along each day.  Seawall Repairs | The Holiday Inn Section’s seawall, "top cap," was replaced in-house last week. This affects the Q, R, S, and T beach accesses. Some minor wall repairs were in the works. This includes removing all of the rotted lumber, replacing all top cap 2" x 8" lumber, and various retaining wall lumber repairs. 4000 More Things To Come | The south half of the 4000 Section was seeded last week. Recently, we provided you all with an update on how Ocean Lakes was adjusting and taking advantage of our current “down” time. Currently, we are only accepting new reservations on June 1 or later and we are practicing social distancing, while we continue to make upgrades throughout the campground.  Recap | During our last Maintenance Update, we informed you that the Ocean Lakes Teammates have been leveling campsites, replacing meter bases for our Annual Lease Site Holders, painting pedestrian crosswalks, handicap accessible parking spots, and parking spot lines at the beachfront, and painting in the Recreation Center.
