Ocean Lakes’ “Down Time” | An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update

If you know Ocean Lakes, then you know we are always up to something! Even in our “down time,” we are busy with projects to make necessary upgrades to the campground. With our talented team, we make things happen! Follow Along for all the Current Maintenance Upgrades in the Campground |  East End of the 7000 Pond Canal | We have started on the "east end" of the 7000 Section storm water canal upgrade. This upgrade will enhance the storm water flow and will greatly dress up this area. Drainage pipe, fill dirt, and rip-rap stone will be added along Sea Oats Road at this location.   They See us Rolling | The Camper Transport Team is currently upgrading the entire fleet of pull trucks. This seasonal task includes making all of the mechanical repairs, sheet metal fabrication, and painting the trucks. The number one request we have been receiving regarding the Meet n’ Eat is to fix the long line by opening the side window for ice cream. Well, we went a step further and are adding onto the building! We sat down with Tonie Holman, our Food and Beverage Manager, to discuss this new addition |  Q | Hey, Tonie! So, let’s chat about this new addition to the Meet n’ Eat. How did this come about?  A | The purpose of this addition is efficiency and time management. How can we serve more guests and cut down on the wait time? By adding an extension to our main building, we are able to increase the number of guests we serve daily. At this new addition, we will only be serving ice cream and drinks, preventing guests from waiting in a long line if they just want ice cream and drinks. The goal is to have two lines; one for ice cream and drinks only and the other for menu items. Construction started last week, and we already have the framework completed. Another Beautiful Maintenance Update

It is a beautiful day in Ocean Lakes – The sun is shining, the waves are rolling in, guests are out walking their dogs, families are playing on the playground, and our Teammates are making things happen!  Last week, we let you all in on the latest maintenance upgrades being completed in the campground. And, this week, there are more! A Word Or Two With Greg | We caught up with our Assistant General Manager, Greg Bender, to ask him about all of the recent upgrades occurring in the campground:  “We have many winter projects going on right now. As always, our Team has done an amazing job getting all these projects started, and some already completed since the first of the year. Our Teammates are really excited to see the Main Office renovations and other upgrades in the park coming along so nicely. Each winter, the Ocean Lakes Team kicks into high gear to complete necessary upgrades in the campground, as well as new and exciting projects. This winter has been no different! We strive to provide a wonderful experience for all of our Guests and Annual Lease Site Holders. Part of that experience includes maintaining the campground, continually making improvements and investing in our campground, and us taking pride in everything we do.
