Over the years, golf cars have become the main source of transportation around the campground. They are fun, simple, and convenient, so naturally, they are popular. Summertime is in full swing here at Ocean Lakes and that means time spent at the pool, Tie Dye Wednesdays are back, and all the ice cream you could ever want! And let’s not forget BEACH DAYS!   With a mile stretch of oceanfront, the beach is a popular amenity when staying in the campground. Guests and Leaseholders thoroughly enjoy walking the beach or sitting to take in the view and catch a few rays. May is upon us and with it brings an increase in activities offered in the Recreation Center, which means even MORE FUN! We are excited to announce that the Fire & Hula Show is back at the end of the month, so whether you are participating in a craft or taking in a show, there is much to experience when staying at Ocean Lakes.  Follow Along for all the Crafts and Shows Happening in May |  Canvas Painting | May 5, 12, 19, 26 | 3 PM |  This class is perfect for beginners or anyone who loves painting. Who says you cannot get a fun workout in while on vacation?! Or, perhaps you naturally enjoy more physical activities. We have multiple activities, amenities, and opportunities for guests to be active in the campground.  Follow Along for the Activities and Amenities |  Water Aerobics – Monday, Wednesday, Friday |  Wake up and feel the burn (and I do not mean sunburn)! Everyone who can comfortably touch the bottom of the pool can come join our qualified instructor at the Indoor Pool for a class of aerobic conditioning, toning, exercises, and movement.
