Ocean Lakes Plunging Into 2019

On December 31, 2018, 575 guests took the plunge and became an Ocean Lakes Polar Bear! For the past 18 years, "happy campers" have joined at Ocean Lakes for our Winter tradition of participating in the Polar Bear Plunge. This year, the temperature was around 62 degrees and the water temperature was in the mid 50's. Pre-Plunge Party  | The 18th Annual Polar Bear Plunge kicked off at 1:30 PM on the beach by the Observation Deck. Guests were able to get pumped up with music and snap a photo with our polar bear mascot. “We’re Freezin’ For A Reason”  | The Plunge takes place December 31st every year - What a way to end the year! You can join this exclusive club by taking a dip in the Atlantic. It all began with three brave souls, and the numbers increase annually as brave guests take the plunge.
