Here at Ocean Lakes, the Recreation Center is a well-known source of FUN! They pack the Activities Calendar with games and events for guests of all ages. This Easter is no exception – April 18th through the 22nd is filled with activities for the entire family!

Easter Weekend Fun | April 18th – April 22nd is packed with activities that are accustom to the Recreation Center, and then there are activities that are Easter themed, such as the Easter Bonnet Contest, the Easter Egg Obstacle Course, Easter Family Field Day, and Lunch with the Easter Bunny. Want to learn more about these? Just keep reading!

Easter Bonnet Contest | Create your own bonnet and see how it compares to all the others. Bring your bonnet to the Recreation Building between 3 PM and 8 PM on Friday, April 19th. Ocean Lakes guests will vote for their favorite during the Easter Bunny Lunch on Saturday morning. Winners will be announced at the beginning of the Magic Show. No fee.


Easter Egg Obstacle Course | All 11 and under can drop by anytime between 2 PM and 3:30 PM to enjoy the Ocean Lakes Easter Egg Obstacle Course. This will be held in the grassy area behind the NEW Nature Center next to the lake. Do not forget your Easter Basket and a camera to capture all the fun! The Easter Bunny will be out there cheering for all participants. No fee. (Please Note: Each participant may only go through the course once.)

Easter Family Field Day | Bring the whole family out to the grassy field behind the NEW Nature Center and join us for some field day fun. We will set up multiple games for your family to enjoy. Be sure to wear clothes you can easily move around in! Prizes go to the top winning families. No fee.

Lunch with the Easter Bunny | Come hang out with the Easter Bunny in the Recreation Center! We provide lunch for ages 11 and under. Do not forget your camera to snap a picture with the Easter Bunny on stage. There will be other fun activities including face painting, craft making, candy guess, and a family photo booth. No fee.

Listen up, Ocean Lakes Campers, we hear you! We know that sometimes the Wi-Fi speed in the campground can be a little frustrating. We listened to you, we heard you, and we are making some big changes that we hope makes Campsite Wi-Fi better. How? We are rolling out a NEW Wi-Fi Tiered Program on Monday, April 8 th . Yes, we will still have FREE Wi-Fi! But we will offer some upgrade options tailored to meet camping guests’ data speed needs (what a tongue twister!). Now with campsite guests logging into the Wi-Fi system, we have locked down the system saving the Wi-Fi access points and data speed.
