Survey Says | Ocean Lakes Guest Satisfaction and Place Attachment


You are invited to participate in a survey about Ocean Lakes Guest Satisfaction and Place Attachment designed by our teammate, Brandy Cloos. The purpose of this survey is to determine what amenities and services provided by Ocean Lakes Family Campground contribute to guests’ place attachment and overall satisfaction. 


Why | Brandy is the Lead Naturalist for Ocean Lakes Family Campground and has been employed for over 11 years by the company. She is completing her Master's degree through Clemson University in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management and this survey is a part of her final project for her degree program. 

How | Your part in the project will be to answer survey questions regarding the amenities and services at Ocean Lakes Family Campground and your satisfaction with them. In order to participate in this project survey, you MUST be 18 years or older and have a valid mailing address. Only those who have been a guest in the past, or are currently a guest, at a campsite or a rental site inside Ocean Lakes Family Campground CAN participate in this survey. Unfortunately, we CANNOT include Ocean Lakes Annual Leaseholders in this particular survey. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

Prizes | By choosing to complete this survey, you will receive one entry for the Prize Vault. The Prize Vault contains various Ocean Lakes gifts and one large prize item (Winner’s Choice of ONE of the following prizes: 2 nights free camping*, 2 day golf car rental*, 4 tickets to 2020 Beach N Boogie, or a Commemorative Brick). Participants will receive a maximum of one prize from the vault, odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Participants are not guaranteed to win a prize. Winners will be chosen at random. Participants have the option to participate in a telephone follow-up interview for an additional two entries to the Prize Vault. Telephone interviews are not guaranteed, and participants are chosen by the surveyor. Prizes for the Prize Vault are provided and determined by Ocean Lakes Family Campground. Prizes cannot be exchanged and have no cash value. Only completed surveys with contact information will be eligible for prize vault entries. (*Restrictions apply.)

Commence the Maintenance Projects | An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update

An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update With fall comes the start of lots of new projects! Our Team is already hard at work to make sure our guests have the best.  We are so excited for everyone to see all the improvements that will be happening around Ocean Lakes. Follow along to see just what our Maintenance Team is up to! I Bathhouse Family Addition | The famil y addition to the I Bathhouse is well underway! This new addition is expected to be done by the Easter Holiday. Raise The Roof |   The 2000's Bathhouse roofing update is complete! Thank you for your patience while our Team works hard to make sure we are in tip top shape. Goodbye Winter and Hello Spring | An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update.

  An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update Spring has almost sprung here in Ocean Lakes, and with spring comes lots of new updates around the campground.  Winter is a time for our Maintenance Team to make improvements and updates around Ocean Lakes. We can't wait for everyone to see the improvements made this year! Keep reading to catch a sneak peek at what our Maintenance Team has been up to! I Bathhouse | The I Bathhouse received a remodel and an ADA Family addition. We are happy to announce that this project was completed earlier than anticipated! The new bathhouse opened the second week of February.  The primary purpose of ADA bathrooms is for our guests who are caregivers to family members with special needs.
