Welcome to Sandy’s Coffee & Creamery | A NEW Food Venue in Ocean Lakes

On Easter Sunday, guests woke up to the smell of fresh coffee and salt air - Sandy’s Coffee & Creamery, located on the beachfront, held its grand opening! 


This new food option replaced Sandy’s Snack Shack, which was located beside the Observation Deck on the beachfront. The building is still there – Sandy’s Coffee & Creamery has moved in.


The coffee portion is open daily from 7 AM to 11 AM. The creamery portion will open this Summer and will be open from 3 PM to 11 PM. A date has not been announced; however, we will update everyone once the ice cream starts being scooped at this location!

Put Er’ There, Partner | We have partnered with Benjamin’s Bakery and Café, a local business, which has been in the Grand Strand since 1994. We are incredibly proud to partner with them to bring our guests quality treats and coffee freshly brewed daily. 

Tidbit From Tonie | We asked our Food and Beverage Manager, Tonie, about the new addition:
“Our Guests and Annual Lease Site Holders have been requesting a spot for coffee in the campground for a while now, and we are excited to be able to provide this new amenity for them. We understand the importance of starting your day the right way or simply needing a mid-morning pick-me-up. Our guests are loving the variety of offerings and the idea of having their morning coffee right on the beach.”

Coffee (Regular or Decaf): Hot, Iced, Frappe
Syrup: French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Caramel, Chocolate, Cane Sugar
Frappe Flavors: Java Chip, Mocha, Coffee, Caramel, Vanilla Bean
Milk Options: Whole, Skim, Almond


Bagels: Plain and Cinnamon Sugar



Muffins: Double Chocolate Chip, Blueberry, Banana Walnut


Danishes: Apple, Cream Cheese, Cherry


Scones: Cherry, Chocolate Chip


Biscotti: Blueberry, Double Chocolate Chip


Tip | For the perfect spot to enjoy your coffee, simply walk a few steps over to the Observation Deck. There are picnic tables for sittin’ and sippin’, and you can overlook the beach as the sun rises. Personally, I cannot think of a better way to start the morning!

An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update With fall comes the start of lots of new projects! Our Team is already hard at work to make sure our guests have the best.  We are so excited for everyone to see all the improvements that will be happening around Ocean Lakes. Goodbye Winter and Hello Spring | An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update.

  An Ocean Lakes Maintenance Update Spring has almost sprung here in Ocean Lakes, and with spring comes lots of new updates around the campground.  Winter is a time for our Maintenance Team to make improvements and updates around Ocean Lakes. We can't wait for everyone to see the improvements made this year! Keep reading to catch a sneak peek at what our Maintenance Team has been up to! I Bathhouse | The I Bathhouse received a remodel and an ADA Family addition. We are happy to announce that this project was completed earlier than anticipated! The new bathhouse opened the second week of February.  The primary purpose of ADA bathrooms is for our guests who are caregivers to family members with special needs.
