Hopping Into April | Easter at Ocean Lakes
We have an egg-stra special Easter planned for our guests this year! Not just on Easter Sunday, but for the whole week leading up to Easter! We are putting all of our eggs in one basket, getting egg-cited for all the FUN, and eggs-pecting to have an egg-citing holiday!
We have so many egg puns, it is not even bunny!

Join us for our non-denominational Worship Service in the Recreation Center.

Bible Study | 10:15 AM |
Join Chaplain Lawton for a general non-denominational Bible Study. You are welcome to discuss topics or just observe.

Monday, April 3:
Rock N Roots Workshop | 4 PM – 5:30 PM |
Come join us for a fun workshop hosted by Rock N Roots Plant Co. This class is open to all campers and will provide necessary materials to teach and walk you through making your very own Succulent.

Spring Mason Jar Make and Take | 3 PM | No New Painters After 3:20 PM |
Make your very own Spring Mason Jar with us! We will provide all the materials necessary to paint and decorate your very own unique jar. You can use your imagination to create something or follow the examples we provide for you. The time is takes to finish depends on what you choose to make.
Cost: Pay Instructor $5 per Jar upon Arriving to Class.
Location: Recreation Center, Room C.
Note: Recommended for Ages 10 and Up.
Join us at the Recreation Center to watch the performers of Polynesian Fire. This Samoan Family comes all the way from the Village of Nu’uuli on the Island of Tutuila to Ocean Lakes. The performers will captivate you with live Polynesian music, ethnic dances, and a Samoan fire show. Guests can purchase tickets in advance or at the door.
Cost: Adults -> $16
Ages 3 – 12 -> $8
2 and Under -> No Cost
Wednesday, April 5:
Nailed it Workshop | 3 PM – 5 PM | Sign-Up By 12 PM Day Before Workshop |
Come Join us for a workshop hosted by The Nailed it DIY Studio. If you do not sign-up, we may take a few walk-ins, but that is not guaranteed.
Cost: Varies Depending on Class.

Thursday, April 6:
Maundy Service | 7:30 PM |
All are welcome to join Chaplain Lawton as he leads Maundy Service. Maundy commemorates the Last Supper that Jesus had with his Disciples. Jesus breaks bread, saying, “This is my body,” and pours wine, saying, “This is my blood.”
Cost: No fee.
Friday, April 7:
Easter Bonnet Contest | Submit Anytime on April 7th Before 8 PM |
Have your family create a custom Easter Bonnet at home to bring to the Recreation Center for judging in the contest. Ocean Lakes’ guests will vote on their favorite bonnet during the Easter Bunny Hop In on Saturday morning, April 8th. Winners will be announced Saturday afternoon. All winners are called and notified.
Cost: No fee.

Campground Canvases | 3 PM – 5 PM | Arrive No Later Than 3 PM |
This class is perfect for beginners or anyone who loves painting. You are welcome to bring snacks with you to nibble on while you paint. Once completed, you get to take home a beautiful masterpiece that you have the pride of painting all by yourself to hang up and remember your trip to the beach for years to come!
Cost: $20 per person. Pay instructor at the time of class. Supplies and instructions are included in the cost.

Music Bingo & Stupid Trivia | 6 PM |
Join us in the Recreation Center for this fun, musical twist on the original Bingo game we typically play. Snippets of songs in different categories will be played, and you will have to match up the song played with the song’s title on your Bingo Card. No worries, we will give a few hits along the way. In between rounds of Music Bingo, we will play 3 rounds of Stupid Trivia. There will be 10 wacky, crazy questions in each round. No cheating!
Cost: No fee.
Saturday, April 8:
Easter Bunny Hop-In | 10 AM – 12 PM |
Come get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny in the Recreation Center! Do NOT forget your camera to snap a picture with the Easter Bunny on stage. We will provide a snack bag for all children ages 11 and under. There will be many fun activities including Candy Guess, Favorite Easter Bonnet Voting, Face Painting, $5 Craft, and an Easter Photo Booth for the Family.
Cost: No fee to attend. Easter Craft is $5.

Sunday, April 9:
Sunrise Worship Service | 6:45 AM |
Let us join together and worship as the sun rises over the ocean. In case of bad weather, the service will be moved to the Recreation Center. Service usually lasts between 30 and 45 minutes.
Cost: No fee.
Location: 3 Crosses on Beachfront.

EGGsplore the Ocean Floor | 2 PM – 3:30 PM |
Enjoy Ocean Lakes’ very own Under the Sea Easter Egg Hunt. Everyone’s done the classic Easter Egg Hunt outside on the lawn, but have you ever done an Under the Sea Egg Hunt? Join us as we swim through seagrass, weave past giant jellyfish, and sneak past sharks to find those eggs. This will be an Egg Hunt you will never forget!
Cost: No fee.
Location: Recreation Center, Rooms A & B.
